Vetting and Background Clearance Policy

RISK MITIGATION EXECUTIVE PROTECTION AND SECURITY AGENCY LLC

Document ID: RM-VET-2024 | Issued: October 19, 2024

1. Objective and Identity Verification

The primary goal of this Vetting Policy is to ensure that RISK MITIGATION EXECUTIVE PROTECTION AND SECURITY AGENCY LLC (the "Agency") employs only trustworthy, qualified, and high-integrity professionals. In the specialized field of executive protection, the reliability of our agents is our most critical asset.

1.1. Identification Protocols

We utilize a comprehensive Identify Data process to confirm the absolute identity of every individual before they are considered for a position. This prevents identity fraud and ensures that every operative's background is anchored to a verifiable legal identity.

1.2. Know Your Candidate (KYC) Standards

Following international compliance standards, our KYC procedures involve deep-dive interviews and multi-source document verification. We aim to understand not just the professional history, but the personal integrity of our candidates.

2. Regulatory Independence and FCRA Exclusion

It is vital for all parties to understand the legal framework under which our vetting operates.

2.1. Non-CRA Status

The Agency does not act as a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA). We do not provide consumer reports to third parties for a fee, nor do we aggregate credit data for general public consumption.

2.2. FCRA Non-Applicability

Our screening is an internal security measure conducted for the sole purpose of mitigating tactical risks. Therefore, our process is independent of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations. We do not use credit-based scores or traditional consumer credit reports to evaluate candidates.

3. Identity and Professional Data Checks

3.1. Primary Identity Verification

We verify government-issued identification, residential history, and legal right-to-work status. This phase ensures that the "Identify Data" provided is consistent with official records.

3.2. Professional Verification

We talk directly with previous employers in law enforcement, military, or high-end private security. We verify the validity of all professional licenses, firearm permits, and medical certifications (such as EMT or First Responder).

3.3. Manual Due Diligence

We do not rely on automated web-scraping or low-cost background check websites. Our team performs manual due diligence to verify the context of a candidate's professional background and reputation in the industry.

4. Behavioral and Tactical Review

4.1. Stress Tolerance Assessment

We evaluate how a candidate handles high-pressure scenarios. This includes reviewing past performance in critical incidents and assessing their ability to remain calm and decisive during a threat.

4.2. De-escalation Skills

A key component of our "Risk Mitigation" approach is the ability to avoid conflict. Candidates are vetted for their communication skills and their history of successfully de-escalating volatile situations without unnecessary use of force.

4.3. Tactical Alignment

Every agent must align with our specific operational philosophy. We check for a history of disciplined decision-making and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

5. Honesty and Integrity Standards

5.1. Zero Tolerance for Misrepresentation

Honesty is the foundation of security. If any candidate provides incorrect, misleading, or fraudulent information—such as lying about employment dates, military rank, or certifications—they are immediately and permanently disqualified.

5.2. Omission of Facts

The intentional omission of material facts during the vetting process is treated with the same severity as active lying. We require full transparency from all applicants.

6. Ongoing Compliance and Re-Vetting

6.1. Periodic Record Updates

Vetting is a continuous process. We periodically update our records for all active staff, ensuring that all professional licenses remain valid and that no new legal complications have arisen.

6.2. Internal Audits

The Agency conducts random internal audits of personnel files to ensure that our KYC and Identify Data protocols are being followed consistently across all departments.

7. Data Privacy and Storage

7.1. Strict Confidentiality

All personal information, Identify Data, and KYC documentation are kept strictly confidential. These records are used only for internal security purposes by authorized Agency management.

7.2. Secure Storage Systems

Data is stored in isolated, protected systems. We do not sell, trade, or share this information with outside credit agencies or marketing firms. This maintains our independence from external data networks and protects the privacy of our team.
